Manage Projects & Workspaces
The Workspace Manager helps you set up your ENVI-met Workspace (the directory in which your project folders are located) and manage your Projects and Scenarios.
Within the project folders, the respective simulation files, an optional project database, and simulation results will be saved.
Click here to read more about the concept an logic of Workspaces, Projects and Scenarios.
You can select your workspace folder via the “Manage Workspaces, …” button in the Central App (1) and will then see your workspace content displayed in a new window (2).
You can create a new project (3) and edit the project name, group and description (4) and name of the home folder (5). You can then decide whether you would like to use a project database (6). This allows you the possibility to create materials exclusively for this project - for further information see our explanation of our database system. After applying the settings, the changes to your project setup will be saved.
You can also import a project folder from another location (7) or delete a project (8). You have the same options for the scenarios (9), where you can create, import and delete different scenarios for your simulation.
Some advanced options allow you to modify your system and user folder (I) and adjust the Python Settings (II) on your device.
